Skills
How skill pages will work.
Chant of the First ShoreThis skill does not exist. It illustrates a channelled skill, one where activation time is the cost that matters and the payoff lands on the party rather than the caster.Chant of the First Shore
Illustrative anatomyIllustrative only. A channelled party effect with a build-up.
Edge of the PilgrimThis skill does not exist. It illustrates the hardest skill page to lay out: one whose text changes with what the character has equipped, so the page must show every variant without burying the base case.Edge of the Pilgrim
Illustrative anatomyIllustrative only. A skill whose effect depends on equipped state.
Signet of the Drowned ChoirThis skill does not exist. Signets are a real Guild Wars skill family whose lore traces to Orrian texts, from the setting Guild Wars 3 occupies, which is why the illustrative example is a signet. The numbers here are invented. What is real is the shape: signets cost no energy and pay for it in recharge, and that trade is the whole reason the family exists.Signet of the Drowned Choir
Illustrative anatomyIllustrative only. A signet showing how a no-energy, long-recharge skill reads.
Tidal WardThis skill does not exist. It illustrates a ward: a skill that creates an area on the ground with rules inside it, which is a page type needing a footprint, a duration, and a description of what changes for whoever stands in it.Tidal Ward
Illustrative anatomyIllustrative only. A ground-targeted ward with a duration and a footprint.
Undertow StrikeThis skill does not exist. It illustrates the most common skill page on any Guild Wars database: a weapon attack whose text has a condition in it, so the page has to render both the base case and the conditional case clearly.Undertow Strike
Illustrative anatomyIllustrative only. A weapon attack with a conditional bonus.
